Have you ever stopped to think how much of your daily experience is clouded by your perception and frame of reference. Have you ever considered that maybe two people can go through the same event or look at the same thing at the same time and have two very different experiences.
Imagine two people walking into a party for instance, one with an attitude of expectancy looking forward to meeting new people. The other not wanting to be there because all these parties are a waste of time. The one with the better attitude might describe the party as fantastic and how they met great people. The one with the poor attitude might describe how the party was boring as the people they talked to had nothing interesting to talk about. Both went to the same party but their reality they experienced was different and you might even question if they were in the same room together. Take the below pictures as another example. They are actual pavement drawings from the works of Julian Beever. Notice that the two pictures of the globe are of the same picture but one view shows an elongated globe while the other a stunningly realistic three dimensional globe with a message of peace and hope. Below is another example of how your view of reference can determine your reality that you see. The first and second picture are both of the same image but notice how different the two pictures are depending on the angle at which you are viewing them. So are you living your life viewing your reality from the wrong angle. Do you walk around your reality thinking how you aren't good enough, that you aren't worthy, that you'll never be successful. Maybe you see the world as one of hate, full of racists and that everyone is a potential mugger. Guest what, your reality is true because that is the view you are looking from. If you create a reality of anger, fear, lack, violence then that is exactly what you will see. But what if your reality you choose to see is like the two amazing three dimensional pictures that just seem to come to life off the pavement. What if your reality you choose to see is one of hope, success, abundance, prosperity and life. What if you see love in people, what if you see compassion and generosity. Imagine what your life would be like. Both scenarios are real to the one who creates it, why not be the one to see the world in three dimensions and colors. How much greater would your life be like, and how much greater will be your impact on those that are around you. |
